Welcome to BabyBliss, your childcare facility that was established in August, 2003. The increasing need for top quality baby care in Ghana was the trigger for the establishment of BabyBliss. With a specific focus on children under two years, BabyBliss aims at effectively partnering parents in assuring the best quality care for their babies. coordinated and carefully At BabyBliss, we believe that a well managed partnership with parents will assure your baby of excellent care through the early stages of development. The Ministry of Social Welfare, the Authorised Appointing Authority, has licensed BabyBliss to operate as a childcare centre.

We understand the importance of supporting and not supplanting your role and therefore welcome contributions from parents as we work together to help your child grow, learn and develop. As parents ourselves, we understand the need for assurances that the place you choose for your child's care must appropriately cover all aspects of the child's physical, social and emotional development.

BabyBliss' Quality Staff Partners

Mrs. Ishmaelina Roberta Ayeh, a long-serving internationally-trained nurse with a heart for children, co-founded BabyBliss together with her daughter, Oparebea Armstrong - Mortagbe, who is herself, a trained Nursery Teacher - attendant. Matron Ayeh, as she is affectionately called boasts of over twenty - five years' experience and has worked in several hospitals in the United Kingdom and in Ghana; her last post was at the Princess Marie Louise Memorial Children's Hospital in Accra, Ghana, where she worked as the topmost nurse on staff. With her heart for children, Matron Ayeh is blessed with four lovely children whose development and current standing in life reflect this strong attribute of hers. Matron Ayeh is very well supported by a well-trained General Manager and well-motivated nursing assistants and auxiliary staff with the requisite focus and warmth to assure excellent BabyBliss and parental satisfaction.

As our name, BabyBliss suggests, we have made it our business to provide a loving, warm, and comfortable environment where both the baby's and the parents' bliss is truly assured In this environment, the baby's emotional and physical needs are given supreme priority. We understand that this is a time when all parents are naturally particularly concerned to make the right choice of carers. Our belief in a gentle and sensitive approach ensures that every baby will feel special, safe and cared for. Working with you, we can decide on the most appropriate way to help your child take his or her first steps on the road to healthy and happy growth, self discovery, fulfilment and achievernent.

Our working with parents

This stems from the fact that, too often, parents leave the total care of their baby to the crèche whilst we, at BabyBliss, are confident our ability to provide excellent baby care and thereby facilitate the baby's early development, it is crucial that parents get integrally involved this activity. Through frequent interaction with BabyBliss staff and detailed reporting, by BabyBliss, on the baby's progress and development, BabyBliss affords the parent an effective scheme and format for successful partnership.

Because of the ages of the children, BabyBliss requires parents to provide each child with sufficient food each day that they are brought to the crèche.

Why we are unique

BabyBlissis very willing to accept children who are on medication BUT we will not accept children with clearly identified infectious diseases. BabyBliss does not run the term system. For extended - time child care services, BabyBliss works on a monthly basis. Rates are fixed for each month. Our unique way of caring for your baby ensures that BabyBliss creates a solid foundation for your child's successful development.
